Reflection
This is the walk-cycle that I have done, to demonstrate weight shift and understanding of locomotion. After following some of the tutorials and pictures as a guide, I feel that the flow of my animation is quite good, and is also looking quite natural when he walk. The leg movements is good, the hands part is not bad and also I do the hips, shoulders and spine to make it look more realistic and to demonstrate the weight shifting part. This walk-cycle took me quite some time to finish, as it is very tedious and need to set frame by frame and bit by bit of movements. Overall I still quite enjoy this project, as when you finish the project and look at your own work, it feels a sense of achievement. I learnt that it takes hardwork and patient to complete even a small movements of the animation, now I know how the other animators feels, and how much real effort and time to put in order to get the nice animation done. I hope that I can work harder and improve my animation!
